5 things

1.)  I'm alive! I have been feeling so tired and have just been busy with life lately.  Charlotte has been so crazy lately, tantrums, mood swings, etc.  It is so tiring and hard to keep my patience every day but I am trying my hardest to just ignore it and tell her to use her words and not whine.  Easier said then done for sure.  She is so sweet though that it makes up for her turd behavior (most of the time) she gives my belly kisses and tells her baby sister she is her best friend.  She also is convinced that the baby lives in her stomach too, so she always tells me that her baby sister is hungry in her tummy...hahaha.
2.) I am 30 weeks 4 days today, shit just got real i feel like she is finally almost here, with only 8 weeks left I am just getting so excited, and nervous for life with TWO girls.  We have so many clothes for her I don't think she will ever wear anything more than once, my friend dropped off a box of hand me downs for her so that was awesome.  I am feeling pretty good, but just out of breath a lot (legit walking up the stairs makes me so out of breath its like climbing mount Everest)  also I get SO tired I feel bad because I can't do as much with C, but she has been really understanding and always tells me to "sit down and drink water" she was seriously meant to be a big sister! I can't wait for her to meet her baby sister! Really I just can't wait to have her out of my belly so I can fit into all my clothes again!
3.) Russ is doing well, just really really busy he works all the time and I feel like I never see him the good part is that he is getting a lot done, and will be able to take some time off when the baby comes but the bad part is I am just more tired.  I guess it will be a good thing when he can help out for awhile when the baby comes.  We find out where we are going to move within the next month and I am just so ready to know.
4.) C went on her first bike ride last week with Russ and she absolutely loved it.  So now they go all the time on daddy/daughter dates and I love it because I get to relax and they have fun so it is a win win for everyone.
5.) We have peony gardens that are just so beautiful I could die and I got to do a photo shoot of my good friend and her hubby for their maternity pictures and the lighting was so perfect.

Weekend in pictures

This weekend was perfect weather, and was super relaxing.  Just what we needed after a lonnnng week of tantrums and sickness.  On Saturday we didn't do much just lounged around and then met up with my Brother, SIL, and their dog for a long walk at the park.  Sunday we went to the lake, and Charlotte had a blast in the sand and playing in the (freezing cold) water.  Then we just enjoyed the weather the rest of the day and went to a BBQ at my in-laws.  Today Russ had to work unfortunately so me and Char picked up Elisabeth (crazy med school)  and headed to the beach! It is our favorite place and so relaxing and just perfect.  It is right by Canada so your phone doesn't get service so you really are out of touch with people for the time you are there, it is pretty perfect.  It is my definite happy place! That last picture of me and E, my bump is huge, I am wearing a mom tankini, and there is my best friend with her nice abs, I seriously must love her to let a picture like this grace the internet.  Love you E!
All in all it was the best weekend, thank you all to have served, and are serving.

In my brain

1) We started potty training.  Day one: put her in her (batman) underwear and let her roam free outside...she stood on the porch and peed while waving to the mailman...yeahhhh she isn't ready.  Also we let her pick out her own underwear at Target and she chose superhero boys underwear, and floral girls underwear, I am pretty impressed and proud that she is girly and equal parts tom boy, and so is Russ because he is so nerdy he loves superhero stuff.

2) Ever wondered how many temper tantrums (I am talking full on scream crying throw yourself on the floor) someone can have in 20 minutes? 10. She had 10 in 20 minutes.  I now know why day drinking is acceptable.  (No I didn't have a drink, YES I wanted one)

3.) Russ has to work on Monday, and I was feeling sad about it because it is supposed to be 84 and sunny, so I complained to my bff and she has Monday off and suggested we go to the BEACH.  So now I am excited.  I just hope nobody minds my pregnant self trying to tan my white belly.

4.) My wedding rings don't fit anymore.

5.) I made dinner THREE times this week.  I am so proud of myself

6.) After tantrum 10 today Russ pulled out Char's comforter and it was magic she was so excited and I wasn't wondering how early I could possibly put her to bed anymore.

7.) My cat has the WORST dingleberries.  It is literally the grosses thing ever.

27 week update

Pregnancy update...27 weeks baby bump! I was technically 27 weeks on Monday.  I didn't have to buy any maternity clothes up until today I finally got fed up and bought shorts, and a few t shirts.  Black and pink.  I don't want to buy anything else if I can help it but I literally only wore leggings, one pair of jeans (with a belly band) and sweat pants all day every day.  It was so humid today I was sweating balls and had to do something so I got Liz Lange jean shorts from Target.  They are actually normal looking and not ugly and don't squeeze my legs.  I tried on like ten pairs and fell over five times in the process...I hate trying on clothes with a belly my balance is all out of whack.  Plus Charlotte was constantly telling me "Mommy your tummy is HUGE" sooo that was fun.  The only problem is now I have to figure out how to shave my legs...WHY did I think being pregnant in the summer was a good idea? Oh well, I guess I will look forward to falling over in the shower now!
I am feeling pretty great actually, and I have been trying to stay as active as possible, the other day though when Russ and I were going on a walk he said to me "where do you want to waddle today?" hahaha I do waddle.  Well I kind of feel like I do.  My blood pressure is good, baby is measuring kind of small (just smaller than with C) but she is healthy, I am trying not to give into my ice cream cravings (frozen lemonade for the win).  I have had a few braxton hicks but other then that things are going pretty well.  It was SO humid today I got cankles, but honestly I don't mind because they will go away.  I know I say this a lot but I really cannot believe that we are this far along and that she will be here sooner then we think! We are so excited, and Charlotte says every day to my belly that she loves baby E.

Recipe for a perfect day

If today could happen every day that would be great.  Recipe for the perfect day: sun + your bff + your little bff + picnic + uninterupted long convos with your bff (while your little bff is sleeping) + frozen lemonade.
I literally love summer.
I love the shot I took of C with her legs crossed, and all the ones of her and crazy med school.
Charlotte wasn't feeling that great today, she had a fever, but once we got outside? She just forgot she was sick I think and was her usual self! She slept in until 8:30 today, which was a REALLY nice change from the 7 am wake up call I have been getting...damn birds outside her window.  I am trying to get better with my photography because I honestly LOVE it and its just fun to take pictures I love the candid ones the best!

Summer?

I can't believe its already Sunday. This week flew by for me, Russ worked a lot so we were mostly on our own, except Thursday I got my hair cut FINALLY and long awaited highlights.  I finally feel like summer MIGHT be here to stay (except some stupid weather this week and it going down to 34 degrees).  There is seriously nothing better then a haircut and color I haven't gotten one in forever so it was much needed! I am starting to feel huge, and uncomfortable and I can't believe I am starting my third trimester tomorrow.  27 weeks. In other news Charlotte gave up her pacifier about two weeks ago, and she just gave up (FINALLY) her night bottle.  I actually can't even believe that she is growing up this fast.

dandelion crowns

On Mother's day me and Char took a walk and collected dandelions to make crowns for everyone.  Russ caught us on the front porch making them, please excuse the dirty door we haven't really cleaned it since Cody girl passed away and Char gets it messy every day soooo in other words we are lazy...its probably fine.
I love these two more than words can say.  They are both so amazing, and oh my gosh I can't wait until the baby gets here so I can get back into SHAPE.  I am starting to get the fat preggers face, and my back hurts, I get cankles if I am on my feet too long...blah.  I LOVE the end product of all this, and don't get me wrong I am so lucky to get to have another baby, but srsly pregnancy and me DO NOT get along.
