Emma and Family Holiday Session

 I just love this family, I met them at an old job and we stayed friends ever since I had Charlotte.  They are great parents, and I am obsessed with Emma's cheeks! I have absolutely loved being a part of their lives and taking pictures since before Emma was even born! They are just the cutest, and I was so excited to do another session at one of my favorite places.

Wednesday catch up

 Aunt Lisbef (as C calls her) came over and my sweet Mom made all these little tea party snacks and we got out my old tea set, C made us wear tutu's and we had "tea" for 3 hours it was so much fun.

I made Elizabeth laugh for the first time today and it was seriously THE CUTEST thing ever in life.  I wish I had gotten it on video but after her nap she wouldn't laugh again for me.  Also it is cold as balls here in MI so I got out the baby uggs. E is getting to my favorite age 4 months-18 months is the sweet spot before they turn into little crazies with attitude (at least in my experience ha).

 I have two pairs of sunnies in my car, both are mine and C always wants to wear my purple ones.  I think they look so cute on her so I always let her.  We were going to get coffee because I ran out one morning...and honestly not having coffee on a FREEZING cold day just makes me super grumpy so we had to get out of the house.  I love this girl. My car on the other hand is SO messy.  It is getting disgusting.  

In other news I hate Wednesday's.  Russ works late and so I have the girls all by myself and it is so tiring to put them both to bed and give them baths with just me.  I do it, I don't know how but every Wednesday I just collapse into bed after the bed time craziness and want chocolate ice cream and wine. Lots of wine.  

3 months of Elle

 Happy 3 months to this little lady! What a month it has been, she gets happier and chattier by the day.  Her new bff is the ceiling fan and a lamp in our play room, it is seriously hilarious how excited she gets.  She is getting little rolls on her legs and they are so cute! Her cheeks I could just kiss all day.  Getting this girl to sleep at night though? It is an olympic sport.  Once we get her down she will go 7-10 hours but it literally takes the two of us, 1-1.5 hours, 3 times of putting her down, holding her hand, and putting her pacifier in.  This had better change soon because we are so exhausted by the time we actually get her to sleep all I feel like doing is vegging out and not talking to anyone.  I want to eventually get her in Char's room so they can share but probably not for a few more months.

life update

 I have been so MIA it is insane.  Every time I sit down to write something else comes up and I can't! Usually in the form of Char getting up from her nap, or E having a poop explosion.  I literally lead the most exciting life ever.  Halloween was SO cold, it snowed.  We trick or treated at 8 houses and then called it a night since we were all freezing! Charlotte was a leopard and she had so much fun.  She wore her costume literally all day long, and wanted purple whiskers, it was so fun to experience the holiday with her this year and her actually be able to understand how to ring people's doorbell and say "Trick or Treat!".  

Me, Russ, and Elle went to one of Russ' good friends weddings in Cleveland for the day and it was so fun to see everyone from college again.  It was the first time since graduation that all of Russ' bestfriends were together at the same time.  The wedding was beautiful, and so much fun.  Elle was really good the whole time, and it was nice just having one kid around to worry about.  Charlotte got to spend the day with my parents and had a blast.  

My bff Elisabeth and I have had a few girls nights and it has been so nice to just let loose and hang out with her before we move, and she starts school up again! Speaking of moving...

We just found out we are moving to NORTH CAROLINA!!!! Russ got a post doc position so we are pretty excited to move and start at a new place.  We move at the end of December, so it is coming up super quick, we have so much to do before then and I feel like it won't ever get done.  It will, I am being dramatic but it is nerve wracking.  I literally know no one there so it will be exciting to meet new people, and be in warm weather.  My bestie Olivia is going to drive with me and the girls down there since Russ will have already left to move us in.  I am SO grateful for her help, and it will be so much fun to road trip with her and my girls!

Anyways that is what is new over in my life, we did nothing this weekend because we all got sick so it was nice to just lounge around and relax.

McGuire Session

These two love birds live in the most BEAUTIFUL place.  The lake they live on is just so calm and I am so jealous of the beauty they get to experience every single day. They just celebrated a year of marriage, thanks guys for letting me take these!

I got to take pictures of this beautiful family the other day, they are expecting a little boy in January!  They have been such great people to know during our time here in Ann Arbor, and we love our play dates together.  We sure will miss them once we move, thanks for letting me take these!
