Weaknesses

13. Describe 5 weaknesses you have

1.) I am too nice
2.) I say yes to almost everything (this is not good as Charlotte gets older...)
3.) I cry at almost every movie
4.) Chocolate cake
5.) Shopping

I am working on all of these, and so far I am proud of my progress! This week has gone by so fast, I am getting excited for Chicago with my hubby this weekend.  We are taking the train (which I have never done) so that will be fun.  My parents will be having a fun weekend with Charlotte, they are excited to spend some time with her especially since my mom just got back from Scotland, and my dad has been gone for work they haven't had a chance to slow down and enjoy themselves...I am hoping Charlotte isn't too much of a handful for them!

While we are in Chicago we will be staying right off of Michigan ave, near millennium park so I am excited to do touristy things such as seeing the bean, and going shopping! We are meeting up with some old college friends as well that we haven't seen since our wedding.  I will post pictures upon our return.

Over the weekend my hubby made delicious muffins, they were apple strudel muffins from allrecipes.com, we added cinnamon to the dry ingredients and they were DELICIOUS! Here is the recipe if you want to make them yourself!

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped apples
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter

Directions
1.             Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 12 cup muffin pan.
2.             In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
3.             In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar and eggs until smooth. Mix in vanilla. Stir in apples, and gradually blend in the flour mixture. Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin pan.
4.             In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture is like coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over tops of mixture in muffin pan.
Bake 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a muffin comes out clean. Allow to sit 5 minutes before removing muffins from pan. Cool on a wire rack.

Charlotte is getting so much more hair, YAY!
This is my cat, Callie, she likes to do this while I write
