I can't believe its already Sunday. This week flew by for me, Russ worked a lot so we were mostly on our own, except Thursday I got my hair cut FINALLY and long awaited highlights. I finally feel like summer MIGHT be here to stay (except some stupid weather this week and it going down to 34 degrees). There is seriously nothing better then a haircut and color I haven't gotten one in forever so it was much needed! I am starting to feel huge, and uncomfortable and I can't believe I am starting my third trimester tomorrow. 27 weeks. In other news Charlotte gave up her pacifier about two weeks ago, and she just gave up (FINALLY) her night bottle. I actually can't even believe that she is growing up this fast.

dandelion crowns
On Mother's day me and Char took a walk and collected dandelions to make crowns for everyone. Russ caught us on the front porch making them, please excuse the dirty door we haven't really cleaned it since Cody girl passed away and Char gets it messy every day soooo in other words we are lazy...its probably fine.
I love these two more than words can say. They are both so amazing, and oh my gosh I can't wait until the baby gets here so I can get back into SHAPE. I am starting to get the fat preggers face, and my back hurts, I get cankles if I am on my feet too long...blah. I LOVE the end product of all this, and don't get me wrong I am so lucky to get to have another baby, but srsly pregnancy and me DO NOT get along.

Nature, Food, and Family
Happy Mothers day!! I am so lucky to have such an amazing daughter, and another one on the way. Being a mom is the hardest, and most rewarding job I have ever had. There are days where I think I am not cut out for it, but then other days I think its the best thing ever. I am so grateful for this little girl who made me a mom. I love her more than words can say, even if she annoys the shit out of me sometimes!
Thank you also to my Mom, who set a great example of what a Mom should be. Thank you for inspiring me daily, and for being Charlotte's Nana.
I woke up to a sweet card and pancakes made by Russ and Char, and then we went to some gardens and got out and walked around and took some pictures, whenever we tell C to smile now she gives this crazy smile face and I just love it. It has been a great day so far, and exactly what I always want: nature, and yummy food!

What a week
This week took a lot out of me, by way of toddler tantrums, Russ working late, and just rainy cloudy days. I really shouldn't complain because its not like R is a doctor or out of town all the time, but I guess I am about 6 months preggers, so maybe that is why I am so tired? Once we got to Thursday it was 84 degrees and SUNNY so we took full advantage of it and went to this lake that is 30 min away from our house. I haven't seen C that happy in a long time. It was SO nice to just not wear coats, put on sunscreen and enjoy the sun. C picks out most of her outfits these days so I never know what she will end up putting on in the morning, the other day she picked out rain boots, polka dot shorts, pink shirt, jean jacket, and her hat. She is so funny about it I don't even make her change into something else, because it actually is so not matching that its cute! The girl has style! I got a boba wrap the other day in the mail (my mom got it for me, so nice) and I practiced on Char's baby doll and I am SO excited to baby wear this time around, with C I never did, I basically just had her in my arms or car seat, but I feel like this time around I really will need to while I run after my crazy 2 year old. I was picking up Charlotte today to put her on the swings and I pulled something in my back, so currently I am laying in my bed with a bag of frozen peas on my back...hopefully it feels better tomorrow. Thankfully Russ came home early so I didn't have to stand up anymore with C.
Yesterday was my 4 year wedding anniversary with R! We had big plans to go on a progressive dinner: apps at one restaurant, dinner at another, dessert at another....well we got so full from dinner we didn't make it to dessert, but we did go get some pints of ice cream (which was the worst decision EVER in life) we were still so full from last night this morning we didn't even eat breakfast! Sometimes I hate being preggers because I can't even eat as much as I want to, and I get full SO QUICK.
Have a great weekend everyone!!

wedding date
You guys! Russ and I got to a fancy wedding in Detroit, withOUT C!! It was so wonderful. We got to dress up, look nice, not leave early, and actually dance and enjoy ourselves. (Thanks to my mom and dad for taking care of C!!) It was seriously the best night ever. The bride was beautiful, the location was perfect, the food was seriously amazing, and the music! We danced all night. It was a really fun night, and I am so glad we got to go. This Thursday is our 4 year wedding anniversary so we are going restaurant hopping to three different places to eat and we get to get dressed up again and hang out just US again! I really miss our date nights they come few and far between, and I am sure once baby girl gets here they will be even LESS so its nice to enjoy this while it lasts!! After our anniversary we have our five year college reunion for a weekend together and after that nothing else, so we made a list of 40 cheap or free date nights we could do without kids to hopefully not lose our sanity in the upcoming months.

crazy ninja
So how many times can a 2 year old throw
herself on the floor? In my house 15. By 11 a.m. ranging from crying
because I gave her a napkin not a paper towel, I helped her put
something back when she asked me to, I moved her baby out of the way so
she wouldn't fall...I really hate the terrible twos. C has gone crazy,
and some foreign being took over her body. I wonder if this is what she
will be like when she is a teenager...
I
took a shower this morning (like less than a minute) and found C in the
nursery having a picnic in her diaper. She used her stool and took off
her clothes and put a hair clip in. IN LESS THAN A MINUTE. She is a
crazy ninja. When will I ever shower again once this baby girl comes?
Probably never. I rarely shower now anyhow, so its probably fine.

Mom's are the best
Thank goodness for my mom. This week has been rainy, 50s and we have been stuck inside. Today I thought I really might throw C out the window after tantrum number 10, by 11 a.m. Thankfully my Mom offered to take little miss grumpy pants on a walk for a half hour so that I could just bask in the peace and quiet of no toddler throwing herself on the floor for the bajillionth time because I put the bow in her hair that she asked for.
I really don't know what I would do without my Mom sometimes, she always comes through even if she is super busy with other things. When we move, I will probably call her a million times a day because I am just so used to her being around when I need to vent, talk, or just give me a break from my crazy toddler. I know this is just a phase, but Miss. C has been driving me crazy lately, she is probably just as sick of being inside as I am, but for real girlfriend calm your SH*T :)
Thank you Mom, for EVERYTHING.
