McGuire Session

These two love birds live in the most BEAUTIFUL place.  The lake they live on is just so calm and I am so jealous of the beauty they get to experience every single day. They just celebrated a year of marriage, thanks guys for letting me take these!

Flaaen Family Session

I got to take pictures of this beautiful family the other day, they are expecting a little boy in January!  They have been such great people to know during our time here in Ann Arbor, and we love our play dates together.  We sure will miss them once we move, thanks for letting me take these!

Stephen's Family Session

This family is just so cute, they are some of our best friends.  I got to take their pictures at one of my very favorite places, and we got super lucky with how perfect the weather turned out! We sure will miss them once we move, I could not have survived Charlotte without this girl, and I will miss our lazy mornings wearing scrubs and no make up!
Thanks for letting me take these guys, you are the best!

Sunday Funday

Today was Russ' one day off so we literally stayed in our pajamas until 12:30 and then decided to skip Charlotte's nap and took the bus to the library downtown and then we took a walk in the arb, the leaves are GORGEOUS this time of year so it was nice to be out in the fresh air and just spend some time as a family.  If only every day could be like today...we miss Russ!

Elle's 2 month update

Age
2 Months

 Stats
11 lbs 4 oz (54th percentile)
22.2 inches long (46th percentile)

Size (Diapers, Onesies, everything else):
Size one diapers, and 0-3 month clothes, her pants are still huge around her waist but the length is perfect, she still fits in some NB stuff but she is pretty comfortably in 0-3 month sleepers and onesies.

Eyes:
Blue! Pretty sure that will stay since everyone in our family has blue eyes...no joke everyone except my SIL.
Hair:
Light brown, and still getting lighter daily, her roots are SUPER blonde so home girl is rocking a little bit of an ombre.  I think she is going to be a little tow head though...we will see! It is also super wavy/curly after her baths just like her big sisters, I think she got my hair.
Sleeping:
We have gotten to the 5 hour mark and one 7 hour stretch.  Mostly it is between 4-5 hours at night, and then 3 to 3.5 during the day.  I am happy if we get straight 4 hours of sleep at night, and I am looking forward to longer as she gets older! She usually starts out in her crib and then in the middle of the night feeding she will move to our room and eat on and off until Charlotte comes in around 7 am.
Eating:
Girl loves her food, she lets out THE loudest scream cry ever (seriously my hearing is awful in my left ear now ha) when she is hungry.  She is pretty comfortably eating 4 oz at night, and then anywhere from 1-4 oz during the day.  One night she ate almost 6 oz before her longest stretch of sleep yet.

She can hold her head up super well, and giggles, smiles, sticks out her tongue, and coos and babbles to us.  She hates falling asleep.  She will cry and cry until she just passes out.  Thankful for my boba wrap because she usually can fall asleep without problems in that so quickly.  She loves her big sister and gives her SO many smiles.  She also loves me, whenever I am in the room her eyes follow me everywhere and she will whine until I pick her up.  I usually can get her to smile more than anyone else can.  We mostly call her Elle, Elizabeth and Ellie bean.  Char calls her "MY baby sister".

I cannot believe you are 2 months old already Elle! Although it seems like you have been with us forever, and we cannot imagine life without you in it!

Weekend

We had a great weekend! Saturday Russ had to work so we had plans with my parents all day, then when Russ got home I had a much needed girls night out with my bff.  We always have so much fun together, and it was so amazing to catch up! Definitely listened to B. Spears circa the 90s the whole way home.
We decided to go to the pumpkin patch yesterday to get our pumpkins, and it was the perfect day, cold but sunny and we got donuts too!
This fall has been one of the best so far, and we have done almost everything on our fall bucket list.  The weather has cooperated really well and it hasn't been to grey yet.  I am excited to move out of this weather though at the end of December, to somewhere WARM.  We aren't 100% certain yet where that will be so I can't say anything yet, but it will be soon.
Elizabeth is 2 months old today. I literally CANNOT believe it.  I will do her two month post later today probably along with some pictures, but she is the sweetest, and I can't remember what our family was like without her.

Update!

Elizabeth got baptized and it was such a special day, our pastor who married us and also baptized Charlotte did it, E was legit freaking out in my arms before I handed her over to our pastor, and she immediately calmed down the second she started holding her.  It was amazing.  We could not have asked for a more perfect day either, it was in the 70s and we went to a park afterwards to have bagels and coffee.

We went apple picking with some friends in from out of town, and literally we always pick the best day to go, it is kind of cloudy and yeah it was a little windy but the lighting was amazing for pictures.  Charlotte was in heaven she would pick the apples off the trees and take one bite and then give the rest to me or Russ.  We sure will miss apple picking when we move!

I did not think the girls looked anything alike until this picture:

they are just so sweet. I love them.
I have been trying to spend more one on one time with Char lately because I can tell it is getting to her how much time E takes up, and she is so much happier when I even just do a puzzle with her.  I hope she knows how much I love her.

These girls.  They are so cute together! Charlotte ALWAYS wants to hold her baby sister.

I LOVE baby wearing! It is seriously my favorite.  It makes things so much easier too with Charlotte because I have two hands free! I love my boba wrap, and I am about to get some solly baby wraps too, I literally wear her for more than half my day, unless she is eating or I am changing her diaper. It is a total life saver!
Charlotte still picks out her outfits every day, and it is just so funny sometimes to see what she ends up with, she will ask me to do her hair too including accessories.

Elle is already 8 weeks old...she will be 2 months on Monday, HOW is time going this fast??

Other then all that, Russ is going to visit North Carolina to check if he fits in at UNC at the end of October, so I am excited for him but not so excited to spend 2 nights alone with both girls...I might die...ok I am being dramatic but I am super nervous.
I am doing well, just getting ready for the move, halloween, thanksgiving, and Christmas!
