bowling and friendship

 These little peanuts are the cutest ever.  The love they have for each other is sooo sweet! We got to see baby J a lot over the weekend, and Char was just so beside herself with happiness.  I asked who she wanted to pray for last night and she said: "Josh, Ellie (her elephant), and mine elbow" I didn't ask about the elbow thing...but how cute is it she wanted to pray for little J?? I am so thankful for his mom.  She is probably one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and I am so grateful for her friendship.  She is just one of those people that was born to be a mom, she just glows around J, and you can tell she really means it when she says she loves being a mom.  Char loves her too and always wants to give her kisses and hugs.  It is a rare thing to find someone you connect with on so many levels, and we have so much in common with our kids, fashion, faith...it is just so nice to have her in my life.  

Last night the hubs and I went bowling with some friends and I surprised myself with how baller I am, I must have picked up these skills from my Grandpa and Grandma because they used to be amazing at it! I even won a free game! It was so fun, we used to go bowling all the time but we kind of stopped so it was really nice to get out and do something different. I actually even really don't mind the shoes.  

Day light savings is dumb.

It was a good weekend! I ran a 5k Saturday morning, and actually felt awesome running, then we had brunch with some friends, and then took the most amazing 3 hour nap ever in life.  After that we went grocery shopping (really exciting I know) then had dinner and hung out the rest of the night.  Can I just say I used to LOVE day light savings (at least the fall back part) and I would be so excited we got an extra hour of sleep, and for the weekend.  That was until I had C, now I hate it.  We didn't get an extra hour of sleep...longest morning of my life...she woke up at 6:30...which normally would have been fine but ohhh my gosh did I need coffee this morning.  We had 5 hours until her nap time.  Thank god she was in an awesome mood and I think she is adjusted.  We went to one of our favorite parks this morning after church and she got lots of energy out.  She repeats everything we say now, so I really don't swear anymore but even when I am not around her now I say PG things...it is kind of hilarious.  She said today at the park "Oh gosh buddy" "Oh boy you're silly" which I guess is wayyy better then swearing! Later we are going over to our friends to taste some chili and then going bowling! I don't want this weekend to end.

Halloween and C at 22 months

 Happy Halloween!! Isn't C the cutest little ladybug?? Yesterday we went to the hubs work to trick or treat and C had a blast, I am kind of glad because today is totally gloomy and a 100 percent chance of rain allllll day.  Last night we carved pumpkins and I decided to just do mine in a heart and the hubs did his in a typical scary face:

Today C wanted to wear a tutu so I put a bun in her hair and since it is halloween I decided it was probably fine and acceptable:

 C is 22 months today! Charlotte you love holding hands, giving kisses, playing with your babies, building blocks, reading books, all animals.  You are saying so many things, this month you learned how to say your last name, you speak in little sentences, and you love tutus.  You don't really love vegetables, going to sleep, or sitting still.  We love you to the moon and back little girl! You surprise me more and more every day with how much you pick up on, thank you for being the very best kid ever.  I love hanging out with you, and it is so fun discovering the world with you.  

obsessed.

I have a problem. I am obsessed with taking pictures in the fall.  I like for real can't get enough.  Also my bangs were annoying me yesterday so I pinned them back.  The hubs took me on a date last night! We went to my favorite restaurant for dinner and then had drinks at the hubs fav place.  It was soooo nice to get out with him! I love just talking to him one on one, and we had 3 hours of us time it was perfect.  The hubs didn't tell me what we were doing and took charge it was awesome, I hope he does that more I really look forward to surprises sometimes!! I woke up at 1:45 in the morning after some CRAZY dreams with my heart racing and my cat standing on my chest creepily staring at me...rude.

Today we are going trick or treating at the hubs work, and then down town tmw morning, and then in our neighborhood tomorrow evening...candy overload.  I am so excited for C to wear her costume and also she is 22 months on halloween...TWO MONTHS AWAY from being two.  

weekend recap

Last week on Friday we had a bff play date with S, and little M.  They played dress up, made forts, had a photo shoot, and watched movies.  It was the best day ever.  These little girls will be friends for life, they love each other so much.  I am just so glad I met S back in the day and we had babies a month a part.  On Saturday I left to go visit my bff OB in Cbus we always have so much fun together, it was such a quick trip and when I got back on Sunday we just laid around and got Chipotle and then had ice cream and pop corn...I love weekends like that!

My best friend S said to me once "you should have more fun with your significant other than you do with your best friend".  I think that is so true.  I have so much FUN with the hubs, and yeah sometimes we get so annoyed with each other, or we fight, or he leaves the toilet seat up, or I leave hair in the shower drain but we mostly just love being around each other and goofing off.  Nobody can make me laugh the way he can, or cheer me up, or just make me feel whole the way he can.  I love that he just lets me be super weird (and yeah he shakes his head at me) but he just lets me be myself, even if I feel like wearing my sweatpants up to my belly and talking in weird voices, or if I just want ice cream for dinner, or giving a concert in the shower.  He helps me with my homework, and the other day spent two HOURS helping me with a project.  He didn't have to, but he did.  He makes me dinner almost every night, and also cleans the litter box.  

I guess what I am trying to say is I just love you R, thank you for everything.  

mini fall adventure

This morning the hubs let me sleep in until 9...it was glorious.  C woke up early I guess so he took her downstairs to play bc she woke up yelling "APPLE JUICE" and jumping on her bed apparently.  That girl cracks me up.  They came upstairs and C jumps on me and says "cereal mommy, stairs" and ran to the stairs.  She is talking more and more its so cute!  After breakfast we got coffee and went to this park near our house.  We were literally the only people there except some swans and ducks, it was awesome.  I had to take fall pictures the colors were amazing and I got some gems! The hubs was kind of in a hurry to get to work so it took like 5 minutes and off we went to take him to work.  I love fall.  It was so cold this morning though we were supposed to get snow but instead we got a super sunny day. I am glad we had a mini fall adventure, it really made today a good one!
