Fathers Day

 Happy Fathers day to my awesome hubs!! You are such a great dad, it was like you were meant to be one, you are so calm, patient, and fun, Charlotte is one lucky little lady to have you as her dad! In honor of the hubs, here is another installment of stuff the hubs says!

Me: I look like a hot mess...

We went on a hike today around where we live, to try out the back pack again needless to say Char only lasted about 10 min in it before she wanted OUT.  Oh well, we had a great time anyhow and it made us look forward to all of our camping and hiking trips this summer!  We got coffee before hand and so I had to go to the bathroom SO bad but there weren't any porta potties or anything so I had to pop a squat, and just as I was just about done C yelled out "MAMA PEE PEE" like about ten times as loud as she could...thank god nobody else was there.

Some days are just days where Charlotte picks out her princess dress, and comes and plays in her playroom upstairs while I am getting things picked up or getting ready.  Today she picked out her own outfit (and necklace) and decided to let her imagination run wild so I decided to put down what I was doing and snap some pictures!  She learned how to say "belt" "allright" and "see ya soon" today and it was the sweetest thing when she said bye to the hubs.  He has had a not so great week and I am sure when C said bye to him complete with a hug, kiss, love you and see ya soon it made his week a little bit better!

Tomorrow we have a wedding to go to, thanks to my parents for babysitting so we can have an adult night out, and then the rest of the weekend is ours to do what we want with, we can't wait to spend some quality time hiking, playing, and hanging out together!  C and me had lunch with the newlyweds (my bro and SIL) today before they headed off to Hawaii on their honeymoon tomorrow (I am so jealous).  It was nice to see them without everyone around, they are seriously perfect for each other, and I hope we live near each other when we get older so that our kids can be close too!

Char baby loves wearing my shoes, I can find her just about any time of day in my closet trying on my shoes, her favorites are these old brown high heels and she has just mastered walking around in them.  I feel like this is the kind of picture that will eventually go in her wedding montage or senior year yearbook.  I just love my little bff so much she is absolutely hilare and keeps me entertained 100 percent of the day.  She can say so many words now it is so cool to hear how many new ones she can say every day, today her favorite was "tattoo" and "chin" (if you can't tell the hubs was teaching her them...).

One of our favorite places in our town is the Arb peony gardens...they are the prettiest flowers (in my opinion) ever in life, and Char loves smelling them it is so cute I can't stand it, she will go up to every one of them and pretend to smell it.  Lately we have had a LOT going on, with weddings, being away, lots of people in and out of our house, school, and work.  With that being said we are really looking forward to a weekend of relaxing just the three of us quality time.  It is also fathers day on Sunday and I am so excited we have a whole day planned for the hubs because he is the best dad in the whole world to C! Also he has been so stressed out with work (and other stuff I won't mention on this blog) that he just needs a day to seriously relax and know that he is appreciated.  I get so protective of him sometimes that when people are passive aggressive or rude to him I just want to punch them or yell at them (he never lets me though...).

Also the hubs got new glasses! Aren't they awesome? I am a little obsessed with them, and not going to lie I always tell him to wear them instead of contacts because he looks so great in them.  He told me when he got them that he feels really hipster, but I told him its probably fine so he got them anyhow.  I have a sock bun in my hair in this picture because my hair is at a really awkward length, too short for some things but too long for others so I usually curl it or wear it in this bun...super interesting I know.

 This week has been absolutely crazy! I'm back now though, my brother got married, we had my SIL's bachelorette party, I had to finish a bunch of homework, and I got a job, and had to show an apartment for my BFF's dad.  Non stop over here! On Thurs we had the bachelorette party and it was so fun, I thought it wouldn't be that fun hanging out with a bunch of 22 year olds...but it was a blast, and I am so glad I got to be a part of it.  We also got our nails done for the wedding, then on Friday we had a lot of family coming in plus the rehearsal and the dinner.  Saturday was the wedding, I didn't have my camera on me all day so that is why they are mostly phone pictures...once the professional ones come out I will post them here.  I cannot believe my brother got married...it still isn't real to me! I couldn't be more happy for him though, he picked a great girl and I certainly got lucky in the sister in law department! Today we had a picnic/brunch for everyone before they left which me and my best friend set up the whole thing, it was fun but I am so tired I need to go to bed super early and so does Char, she was so overwhelmed with everyone this weekend, she has a weird fear of men I really have no idea where it even came from...I hope it is just a stage.  Also she is scared of the bathtub again...ualsdkfjadf.

Recovery

Bachelorette weekend was a success! We had so much fun, got no sleep, went hot tubbing, went on a wine tour, met some new friends, went to some super cute bars, and watched bridesmaids.  I loved Saugatauk, MI it was literally the cutest little town I have ever seen.  The weather wasn't the best but we didn't even care, it was just fun to be together.  The first night we all wore black and M wore light pink, second night we all wore tank tops that said "Mel's Crew" and hers said "The Bride" that was my favorite night because it was so relaxing.  Now I need a weekend to recover from my weekend...but no time because it's wedding week for my brother!! Another bachelorette party for my future SIL on thursday, and then the wedding festivities begin!

In other news I had a math test today and got 100% you guys. 100%.  SRSLY I never have gotten that good of a grade on a math test EVER! I also got another parking ticket.  ughhhh.

Charlotte also turned 17 months old on Friday, which is CRAZY to me because she seriously cannot be this old already.  She has learned all her body parts and says them all day long her favorite is head and elbow...ha.  She came down with a nasty cold over the weekend (of course this happens whenever I leave) and on top of that is teething like crazy so its niagra falls drooling.
